ADGP Mathew Manjooran, returns to work after a seven-month sabbatical, only to take voluntary retirement. His last day has him investigating a case involving triple murder, including a police officer. Soon a pattern emerges and each clue also links Mathew. How is the veteran police officer tied to the murders and who is the real villain?

Role Models is an upcoming Malayalam comedy film written and directed by Rafi. The film stars Fahadh Faasil, Vinayakan, Namitha Pramod and Srinda Arhaan in prominent roles. Role Models shot in various locations of Goa and Dubai.

Set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war, the movie is inspired by real incidents and the protagonists are inspired by Param Vir Chakra recipients. The movie shows what consequences of war are on the lives of soldiers on either side of the border.

The film dealt with the story of an Indian army officer guarding a picket alone in Kashmir, and his friendship with a Pakistani soldier.

He procures a revolver and when one of his arch-enemies is gunned down, Ramanunni becomes the suspect. The protagonist's attempt to wriggle out of the wrangle forms the rest of the plot.
